About Nerge

Nerge Elementary School serves approximately 680 students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

In addition to the outstanding educational environment, many extracurricular opportunities are available as well.

Nerge also has a very active PTA. This group of dedicated volunteers supports many programs in the school by assisting in classrooms, fund raising and offering cultural arts presentations, book fairs, reading recognition, educational programs and other activities.

The school was named in honor of Frederick Nerge, one of the first men to settle and establish Schaumburg Township. The school serves three communities: Roselle, Schaumburg, and Elk Grove Village.
