This year’s Open House rescheduled for March 2, will take on a multicultural theme showcasing the many cultures, countries, languages, and traditions that make our Nerge family so special. It is sure to be an amazing night. The world needs who you were made to be! We hope to see you all there!

Respect Week
Respect Week gives us an opportunity to raise awareness about a number of disabilities. Please join us for Respect Week as a school and D54 community starting today, February 27 through March 3. #choosetoinclude #respectisgroovy
IAR (Illinois Assessment of Readiness)
This year, the English Language Arts and Math Assessment for grades 3-6 will be given at school between March 6th and March 24th. Students in grade 5 will also complete the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) during the same testing window. Here is Nerge’s testing schedule:
Grade 3: March 13-16
Grade 4: March 13-16
Grade 5: March 6-8, March 20-22 (ISA)
Grade 6: March 9-13
March is Happiness Month!
We hope you and your family will join us in celebrating Happiness Month throughout March! Attached below you will find a calendar of daily activities to engage in to practice the 5 happiness tactics: meditation, the doubler (journaling), Fun 15 (exercise, gratitudes, and conscious acts of kindness.
