Yearbook Orders
The Nerge PTA Yearbook Committee is happy to announce a winter sale of the 2024-2025 Yearbook! The yearbooks are available for pre-order January 6th – January 17th! Softcover yearbooks are $24.00 each with the option to upgrade to a hardcover for $4.50. Yearbooks can be ordered by visiting https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/15356625. (Yearbook Code:15356625). All profits are put towards the funding of school events and programs for all Nerge students!
Please be advised that the Yearbook Committee cannot guarantee that yearbooks will be available for purchase at the end of the school year. School is only 10 months, but memories last a lifetime! Questions? Email us at [email protected]. Let’s have a picture-perfect year!
*6th Grade Students* The Cover Contest is on! The yearbook cover design contest is open to all sixth-grade students who wish to participate, and all submissions must be received no later than Friday, January 17th.
Due to printing deadlines, no late work may be accepted. If your student would like to submit a cover design, we kindly request the following guidelines:
- Submissions should be sent in on an 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper or cardstock.
- Very lightly, with pencil, write your full name and room number on the back of your design.
- For judging purposes, students may NOT sign the front of the design. Those who are selected will sign the front of their designs after judging has been completed.
- There will be one winner and four runners up. The winning entry will be printed on the front cover of the yearbook. The four runner up entries will be reduced and printed on the back cover. Nerge staff will do the judging. Decisions by judges will be final.
- All submissions must be the ORIGINAL hand drawn work of the sixth grade artist. No photos may be accepted.
- You are not limited to a white background. Start with any color paper you want!
- Do not include “Math and Science Academy” in the school’s name.
- You cannot reproduce any licensed characters such as Minecraft, Roblox, or Anime Characters and no digital or computer clip art may be accepted.
- Please send your submissions to the Yearbook Committee at the Nerge Office via your student’s backpack. If your 6th grade student would like to participate and you are in need of assistance with art supplies such as markers, paper, or colored pencils, please reach out to [email protected]. FEBRUARY’S HOT LUNCH MUST BE ORDERED BY JANUARY 20
Get lunch from Dairy Queen and Popeye’s in February! Orders must be placed and paid for by Monday, January 20. To order, log into the Nerge PTA portal (Nergepta.org). Look for the Hot Lunch icon or order under My Account, where you can drop down and click on My Forms/Paperwork. This will give you the option to order and pay for Hot Lunch. If you are new to Nerge, you can create an account for free.

We are looking for volunteers for the upcoming Birthday Books on January 14! Volunteers bring students celebrating their birthday down to the book carts, assist students in selecting books and help kids get back to their classrooms as needed. Please consider joining us. To volunteer click here.

Nerge’s Winter Wonderland Dance will be Friday January 31st for all grades! Flyers have been sent home.
- Grades K-3 will be from 5:30-6:45pm
- Grades 4-6 will be from 7:00-8:15pm

If you are a Spanish speaking family and need assistance, Claudia Venancio is our liaison and can help you with any questions you may have regarding our Nerge PTA website, events or orders. If you need assistance, please reach out to Pam Mazzoni and Lori LaCursia and they will be able to direct you to our family liaisons.
